Treats For The Face

Ok. This is not a "doggy blog" but I thought I had to throw this one in.
There is a really cute salon/store near my house named Treats For The Face. Very small place with a pink facade (you certainly can't miss it driving by). For 2 years I've been driving by there with good intentions to check it out but never did.
Today I finally did it. I went in there to check out the sales rack and ended up having my eyebrows done. Best decision ever!
Al, who did my eyebrows, has beautiful shaped eyebrows himself (which is always a good sign). Not being a fan of waxing, I chose threading and plugging (which is a bit more painful than waxing).
I sat down in the chair, prepared for the pain to come (I just hate it) but Al's technique and hands were so gentle that I didn't feel any pain. I actually got to relax. Never before I had someone be so gentle while ripping your hair of your face. It felt great and ladies I am talking about threading and relaxation in one sentence. Al made my day. He did a phenomenal job, I can't wait to have my eyebrows done again.

Cost of eyebrow clean up $20.00

Bagels - For Teething Pups (Not Only For Jewish Dogs)

How can you tell your puppy is teething? When you find him nippling on your favorite pair of flip flops, wires, leashes or anything that fits in his mouth. Just like you would give a 'teething ring' to a baby, give your pup a frozen plain bagel! The cold will ease the pain and the bagel will keep him busy. Just don't over do it, bagels are high in calories! Cheap, effective and good tasting solution. Mazel-tov!

Stainmaster - Is your dogs pee killing your lawn

Is your dogs pee ruining your beautiful manicured lawn with brown stains from his pee? There is an easy & cheap fix (besides not letting him out in the yard)!
Add a hint of tomato juice to his food. The acid in the tomato juice neutralizes the dogs urine. No more stains!
